EDC Senior Research Engineer, Jake Wachlin, had the opportunity to present to the entire 4th grade class at County Line Elementary School, in Winder, GA, as part of their Invention Convention. Hosted by The Henry Ford, Invention Convention Worldwide is a global K-12 educational program focused on encouraging innovation, problem-solving, and entrepreneurship through hands-on, project-based learning, finishing in local, state, and national events where students design and showcase their inventions. Jake discussed what an invention is, the process, and reiterated that they can be inventors too. He wrapped up his visit with a Q&A session and learned about some of their creations.
